President's Message

It is my pleasure, in this capacity of president and also the election commissionaire at this 3rd AGM, to extend my message greetings combined with the best wishes at this new year 2020.

In proportion to the geographical distance between Nepal and Canada, to me, is the gap in the ‘government-governance’ resulting in the pace/direction of development & therefrom resulting either in the pieces and/or the peace of mind, albeit the people’s spirit remaining the same. I migrated here basically not for money but for peace (of mind) and think I’m not an exception. Yes, unsurprisingly I feel more peaceful here compared to Nepal but surprisingly worried more about Nepal-the more I live here, un/like many others. Let me use this opportunity to express my mind behind initiating this CANFACS which was for infusing the Canadian way of having the peace  to Nepalese through people to people connection and glad to note that CANFACS is striving as  showcased by its endeavors/actions hitherto and more so  in the future  with the  new invigorated Board of Directors (BoD)  after this annual general Meeting ( AGM ).

If to share  my  experience of the presidency,  I had to transcend  myself  from  simplicity  to the much complicated one even  at the cost of my core value, at times, ( e.g. sitting in podium together with the ex-minister- the notorious carpet scandal master mind (a swindler),  granting a few words for the publication  from the  ex-notorious PM etc..)  as demanded by the circumstances while discharging my duty with   the burden of presidential vicarious liability, due to which, I have had to be tough/rough at times towards all including myself, up to the point of ‘chest-pain’ erupted aftermath the recent Nepal day.  I hereby propose to all concerned/stakeholders and specially to my BoD, on this auspicious new year, to exchange/forgive ‘mutually’- the– ‘all in one’   bundle consisting of – ‘thanks, congrats & apology’  thereby nullifying  the past  effects and affects, whatsoever, so that  a new life/spirit  re-starts with this new year 2020. Thanks to the outgoing and welcoming to the new incoming executive Board of Directors.  Long live CANFACS, NCFCA and the friendship between them.
